Archer Gallery’s next exhibit, “Afraid/Not Afraid,” features the work of Portland-based Pamela Chipman and Seattle-based Jan Cook. The exhibit is a photographic art installation focusing on gender and vulnerability. The exhibit opens Feb. 7 and runs through April 24. Regular viewing hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays in the gallery, located in the Penguin Union building on Clark College’s main campus at 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver. The opening reception is noon to 2 p.m. Feb. 7. An artists’ reception and performance by Lyra Butler-Denman is 2 to 5 p.m. Feb. 17. An artists’ talk will be offered at 2 p.m. April 18.
