Art at the CAVE‘s March exhibit is “Stitching Stories,” featuring the work of Sam Yamauchi and Ruth Ross. Common threads between artists include the narrative use of textiles to express memories and mysteries that contextualize identity. The artists’ opening reception is 4 to 8 p.m. March 1 at 108 E. Evergreen Blvd., Vancouver, as part of downtown Vancouver’s First Friday Art Walk. An artists’ talk is 1 to 2 p.m. March 16. Poet Leanne Grabel will offer a reading at 3 p.m. March 23. The exhibit will be on display through March 30. Regular gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Learn more at artatthecave.com.
