“Buzz and Bloom” at Second Story Gallery

The Second Story Gallery, upstairs at the Camas Public Library, presents “Buzz and Bloom,” a collection of works by nature lovers Joanne Adams Roth (fiber art) and Cindy Wilson Geffel (painting and assemblage). Master Gardener Adams Roth presents her fiber art series, “Garden Ladies,” inspired by the works of artists and photographers from around the world. She placed each of the figures in artistic backgrounds that represent flora and fauna imagined or familiar. Master Beekeeper Wilson Geffel is inspired by her rural landscape, including the thousands of bees managed on her farm. Her paintings, assemblages and sculptures celebrate her favorite insect. The opening reception is 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 7 with an artists’ talk at 6 p.m. Feb. 12.
