The Camas Public Library presents a Virtual Speaker Series on Tuesdays in February. Featured speakers are Smithsonian curator Sabrina Sholts with “How We Create Pandemics” at 11 a.m. Feb. 4 (register at CamasPL.org/SabrinaSholts); author of “Moon of the Turning Leaves” Waubgeshig Rice with “Dystopian Tropes from an Indigenous Perspective” at 4 p.m. Feb. 11 (register at CamasPL.org/WaubgeshigRice); and journalist and author Lee Hawkins discussing his memoir, “I Am Nobody’s Slave: How Uncovering My Family’s History Set Me Free” at 11 a.m. Feb. 18 (register at CamasPL.org/LeeHawkins).
