Starbird Theatre Presents Romantic Dramedy “Dear Jack, Dear Louise”

Starbird Theatre presents the romantic dramedy, “Dear Jack, Dear Louise,” showing weekends from March 15 through March 23 in the Sherman Auditorium at the Washington State School for the Blind, 2214 E. 13th St., Vancouver. Tickets are $20 if purchased at starbirdtheatre.com or $22 at the door. Set during World War II, this two-person play centers around a military doctor stationed in Oregon who begins writing to Louise Rabiner, an aspiring actress and dancer in New York City. They hope to meet, but as the war continues, it may end their relationship before it  starts. The play is based on Tony Award-winning playwright Ken Ludwig’s parents’ courtship during World War II. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. March 15, 21 and 22, with matinee shows at 2 p.m. March 16 and 23.
