Metropolitan Performing Arts presents “Alice By Heart”

Metropolitan Performing Arts presents “Alice By Heart” with performances May 9-25 at 6403 E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver. Set in war-torn World War II London, the play reimagines Lewis Carroll’s tale. As bombs fall and a city crumbles, Alice and her ailing friend Alfred escape to the world of her favorite book, “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.” As reality and fantasy blur, Alice learns to face grief, change and the bittersweet complexities of growing up.
