Heritage High School presents “I’m Deaf. I’m Different” featuring deaf influencers

Heritage High School presents “I’m Deaf. I’m Different.” at 6 p.m. May 22 featuring a cast of Deaf influencers and performers exploring the lives of Deaf individuals from diverse backgrounds. The play examines the struggles and triumphs faced by Deaf individuals in a hearing-dominated society, aiming to foster understanding and celebrate the cultural heritage of the Deaf community. The cast showcases Deaf people from various backgrounds, including Codas, Deaf Plus and those from oral, mainstream, Deaf schools and hearing schools who use ASL, Pigeon Signed English, Signed Exact English and Simmunatuenous communication.
