Art and Nature in the Park is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 10 at Downs Neighborhood Park, 3217 N.E. 62nd Ave., Vancouver. This free event brings together a variety of arts and crafts for families. Attendees will enjoy painting activities, seed planting kits, cooking classes, Columbia Play Project, free books and face painting. Snacks, drinks and fresh fruit will be provided.
