Smokey Bear’s 80th Birthday Party

North Clark Historical Museum invites the public to Smokey Bear’s 80th Birthday Party from noon to 4 p.m. Aug. 10 at 21416 N.E. 399th St., Amboy. The program begins at 2 p.m. Smokey Bear will be at the museum to greet everyone (if there is not a fire nearby). Birthday cake and refreshments will be served in the basement after the short program. There’s no admission fee, but donations are appreciated. The museum is wheelchair accessible.
