First Friday poetry, art and music

Relax and enjoy a free sweet treat and hot drink at a First Friday evening of locally created poetry, art and music from 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 6 at 1007 East Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver. At 5 p.m., hear poets Susan Dingle, Derek Klein, Elmo Shade, Tony Blaine and Emily Ransdell. Enjoy serenades and holiday tunes with Opera On Tap at 6 p.m. At 7 p.m., Vancouver Ballet Folklorico will perform a dance representing the state of Michoacán.
