Kiwanis Club of Fort Vancouver will celebrate its 100th anniversary from 5 to 9 p.m. Feb. 11 at Club Green Meadows 7703 N.E. 72nd Ave., Vancouver, with a Roaring Twenties theme including dance instruction for the Charleston and fox trot. Live music will be provided by the Smut City Jellyroll Society. The evening also features a silent auction and raffle to raise funds for Key Clubs at local high schools, local service projects and nonprofit organizations such as Kiwanis Children’s Fund, Kiwanis Doernbecher Children’s Cancer Program, Babies in Need, FISH and Walk and Knock.
The program will include a presentation from the club’s oldest member, Orin Swanson, who joined in 1953. The club, which was chartered Feb. 10, 1923, meets every Wednesday from 11:30 to 1 p.m.
