Beacock Music presents “A Grand Night for Singing,” in the Beacock Music Recital Hall, 1420 S.E. 163rd Ave., Vancouver. “A Grand Night for Singing” is a musical revue showcasing the music of Richard Rodgers and the lyrics of Oscar Hammerstein II. The program features songs from such lesser-known works as “Allegro,” “Me and Juliet,” “State Fair” and “Pipe Dream,” modest successes like “Flower Drum Song” and hits like “Carousel,” “Oklahoma,” “The King and I,” “South Pacific,” “Cinderella” and “The Sound of Music.” Ticket sales will help fund the Daryle Rustvold MusicForLife Scholarship Foundation, which provides for exploration and growth in music through diverse learning opportunities for all ages.
Performances are 7 p.m. Nov. 4, 5, 11, 12, 18 and 19 and at 2 p.m. Nov. 6, 13 and 20. Doors open 30 minutes prior to showtimes. Seats are general admission.
