This class series puts the “fun” in fundamentals and will dig deeper into the aspects of good scene work – scene starts, entering and editing scenes, character work, recognizing “offers,” heightening and agreement, status and endowment, and finding the game in a scene. Students will do a lot of scene work, and play some short-form improv games that focus on different elements of scene work.  This class is taught by veteran improv player and director of Magenta Improv Theater, KC Cooper.  Prerequisite: Beginning Improv for Adults or equivalent class at another theater (approval by instructor).

Fundamentals of Scene Work will be held on Sundays from 1 to 3 p.m. from Jan. 13 to Feb. 24, with no class on Feb. 3. The cost is $125 per person for six weeks. For additional information contact  KC Cooper kcita@comcast.net. Registration is now available on the company website, magentatheater.com.
