Vancouver Water Resources Education Center is offering a workshop, “Animal Tracking Basics: Life Along the Water’s Edge,” from 9:30 a.m. to noon Feb. 24. Registration is required at cityofvancouver.us/events/animal-tracking-basics-life-along-the-waters-edge/. Students will learn how to interpret the clues left behind by learning foot morphology and gaits of common wildlife. This class, which is designed for beginners, will be held outside, rain or shine. This class is suitable for adults and youth ages 10 and older. Expect to go slowly, often standing in one place, or going off-trail and in sandy areas with uneven terrain and mud.
