Author Alix Christie book signing event at Fort Vancouver Visitor Center

Friends of Fort Vancouver present a “meet the author” event at 1 p.m. April 29 at the Fort Vancouver Visitor Center with Alix Christie, author of “The Shining Mountains,” a historical novel set in 1838 at the the time that the Hudson’s Bay Company Rocky Mountain fur trade was extending to Fort Vancouver. Attendees are invited to meet the author and buy an autographed book. The event is free but attendees should register at friendsfortvancouver.org.
