Magenta Theater presents “Baba Yaga” at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Oct. 18. Inspired by Slavic folklore, this puppet show features Baba Yaga (a witch with a taste for bad children), a hedgehog prince who rides a rooster and a little girl, Marusia, who is in search of turnips. As Marusia and the hedgehog match wits with Baba Yaga, a story unfolds with magical brews, a dragon and Baba’s house on chicken legs. Suitable for children over six.
