Battle Ground High School presents “A Christmas Carol,” with performances Nov. 10-12 and 17-19 at The Lair inside Battle Ground High School, 300 W. Main St., Battle Ground. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with curtains up at 7 p.m. Tickets are $7 per person, available online or cash at the door.
This production of “A Christmas Carol” reintroduces a 2015 play written by drama director Stephan “Cash” Henry that asks: How did Scrooge become Scrooge? The play is a sympathetic examination of Scrooge’s youth: How he came to meet and become partners with Jacob Marley, his disdain for love and marriage and his anger at the system of workhouses and prisons.
