Battle Ground Lake Interpretive Program: Volcanic Eruption! What Survives and Thrives?

Dave Newcomb, Mount St. Helens Institute Volunteer, will lead an interpretive program at Battle Ground Lake, “Volcanic Eruption! What Survives & Thrives?” from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 2 at Battle Ground Lake State Park, 18002 N.E. 249th St., in the covered picnic shelter near the day-use parking lot.  Learn what survived during the 1980 Mount St. Helen’s eruption and nature’s amazing recovery. Bring folding chairs.
