The Clark County Genealogical Society will host a bookmaking workshop led by Marcia Grubb at 10 a.m. Oct. 7. This beginner-friendly, hands-on class will explore techniques for creating new books and repairing old books. Attendees will learn how different paper types and weights work and how to evaluate which books are good candidates for repair. Discover how classic bookbinding skills not only preserve research books but also result in beautiful, one-of-a-kind books. The fee is $15 for genealogical society members and $20 for non-members.
