Brigid’s Cross Workshop

Vampire Unicorns, 3510 N.E. Third Ave., Camas, is hosting a Brigid’s Cross workshop from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 31. Attendees will learn how to weave Brigid’s Cross, typically hung above the door on St. Brigid’s Day, Feb. 1. This practice originated in the 17th century in Ireland, in honor of St. Brigid, the only female Irish patron saint, known for healing, creativity, fertility and compassion.
