Camas Farmers Market
August 17 @ 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 3:00pm on Wednesday, repeating until September 28, 2022
The 15th annual Camas Farmer’s Market features locally grown produce, prepared food and live music. The market is held every Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. through Sept. 28 in front of the Camas Public Library, 625 N.E. Fourth Ave., Camas. Special events during the 2022 season include Berry Days on July 6, the Veggie Derby on Aug. 3 and the Harvest Festival on Sept. 28.
Find freshly harvested seasonal fruits and vegetables, pastured meat and eggs, sold by the farmers who grew and raised them. Sample locally produced wine, sip locally roasted coffee, enjoy raw honey and field-grown flowers and satisfy your sweet tooth with a fresh treat from local bakers. Get tips from local chefs and wellness experts at the Healthy Living booth. Have dinner on the library lawn while listening to live music.
In addition, WSU Extension Master Gardeners will be available to answer your home gardening questions and the Kids’ Connection booth entertains and educates young visitors with engaging projects. Children ages 3 to 11 can register for Produce Pals, participate in a weekly learning activity and receive a $2 token to purchase their own fresh fruits and vegetables.
Camas Farmer’s Market offers SNAP/EBT customers up to $40 in SNAP Market Match each week. In conjunction with WSU SNAP-Ed, SNAP customers may register for a Market Tour to provide extra education and incentives for shopping locally. WIC and Senior FMNP are accepted at the market, as well.
