Camas Plein Air Event and Competition

The Camas Plein Air Event and Competition honoring Marquita Call is Sept. 27 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., with an artists’ reception from 4-6 p.m. and an awards ceremony from 5-7 p.m. at RedDoor Gallery, 411 N.E. Dallas St., Camas. This outdoor competition invites artists to capture the essence of downtown Camas, vying for a share of $2,800 in cash prizes, including $1,000 first prize. From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., visitors can stroll through downtown, observing artists at work and later see the completed pieces displayed at RedDoor Gallery. Rules and registration forms can be found at RedDoorGalleryCamas.com. The fee is $30.
