Candlemaking Workshop at Gather Arts Studio

Gather Arts Studio is offering make-and-take candlemaking workshops from 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 6 and 26 and from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 18 at 16523 N.E. 170th Ave., Brush Prairie. Attendees will create custom candles in the scents and vessels of their choice. When the candle is burned, it can be returned to the studio for a free plant from the studio’s greenhouse. The cost is $45 per person and includes all supplies, as well as individual charcuterie boxes and spirits.

Attendees can choose from a wide variety of pots and an instructor will give them step-by-step instructions in the art of candlemaking using 100% soy wax. Scents include blood orange, cedar wood, Christmas hearth, cinnamon chai, cranberry apple marmalade, cream brûlée, dry gin and cypress, Fraser fir and white eucalyptus.
