Vancouver Art Space will host a Celtic Art Make-and-Take Class from 1 to 3 p.m. March 12 at 8700 N.E. Vancouver Mall Drive, Suite 283, located upstairs inside Vancouver Mall. Instructor Hannah Complin will teach students about the art of Ireland, Scotland, Wales and ancient Britannia, including designs like knotwork, spiral, key patterns and zoomorphic motifs. The black outline will be completed and ready for students to use inks and watercolors to finish their own Celtic piece for St. Patrick’s Day. Complin is a local illustrator and painter with a background in art education and theater tech, specializing in watercolor animal paintings and ink graphics.
