Ceramic Luminaries Workshop

KilnFolk Clay Studio is offering a hand-building workshop where guests will create their own ceramic holiday luminaries, designed to allow candlelight to shine through the windows. No prior experience is necessary, Guests will build luminaries using rolled slabs, adding windows, cut-outs and other designs as desired. KilnFolk will bisque fire the luminaries and glaze it one color. Guests who’d like to get more creative with glazing can pay an extra $20 to return and apply additional colors. Choose a workshop from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 6; 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 7; or 4 to 6 p.m. Dec. 29 at 108 W. Sixth St., Vancouver. The cost is $75 per person; register at kilnfolkclay.com.
