The Clark College Theatre Department presents “The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds.” Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Nov. 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22 in the Decker Theatre on Clark College’s main campus at 1933 Fort Vancouver Way. Admission is free for Clark College students, faculty and staff, and general seating is available to the public. The public is encouraged to make donations. The play follows acid-tongued Beatrice Hunsdorfer and her two daughters. Tillie, the shy younger daughter, is gifted in science and conducts prize-winning botanical experiments, which Beatrice mocks. But Tillie’s experiment proves that something beautiful can emerge from barren soil.
