The Clark County Historical Museum, in partnership with Humanities Washington and the Clark County Historic Preservation Commission, welcomes film critic and historian Robert Horton for “The Blacklist Era and Hollywood” from 7-8 p.m. July 10 at the Battle Ground Event Center, 912 E. Main St., Battle Ground. This presentation examines the impact of the 1940s Red Scare, when the House Committee on Un-American Activities forced actors, writers and directors to either “name names” or face blacklisting and career ruin. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free but RSVP at www.cchmuseum.org.
