The festival begins with a “Follow the Fish” scavenger hunt from May 1 to 10 at various locations around Clark County. To participate, download the Adventure Lab app and create an account. Click the “Follow the Fish” button to begin the hunt, which will take you to different locations where Columbia Spring fish can be found, including Klineline Pond, Lacamas Lake and Battle Ground State Park. Take a selfie at each location. Once you complete the adventure, take a screenshot of your review and email it with your photos to email@example.com. Participants will be entered into a raffle; winners will be contacted May 13.
The festival will culminate with a Celebration of Fishing at Battle Ground Lake on May 10, featuring activity stations, fishing-related games, casting practice, fish art, presentations from experts, science and nature games and tackle giveaways. Battle Ground Lake will be open during the event for kids and licensed individuals who bring their own gear and would like to do a little fishing while there.
