Coping with Climate Change Support Circle

A support circle for coping with climate change will be held at the Leaven Community Center, located at 5431 NE 20th Ave. in Portland, starting at 10am Aug. 24.
This week’s Circle will be hosted by One Resilient Earth facilitator, Drew Alcoser. “Coping with Climate Change Circle” is an EXPERIENCES format: Journal prompts and reading climate-poetry. (All writing materials provided and bring a climate or resilience poem.)
Meeting regularly with climate-conscious peers may be helpful for overall well-being. Climate advocates and activists come to process climate-related emotions with people in our community in a peer-support gathering.
Circles are an opportunity to connect with an ongoing community of compassionate Pacific Northwest people, gathered to care deeply for people and planet.
