Coptic Bookbinding

The Coptic Bookbinding workshop, 10 a.m.-noon June 28, teaches a method that sews multiple sections of paper together with a chain link stitch. The paper and stitches are visible in the spine. Without a traditional spine, the book lays flat when open. Students will learn all of the steps to create a book and will leave with a finished book.
