Drawing and Painting for Beginners

Art Zone will offer a four-week Introduction to Drawing and Painting Course for students ages 18 and older from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays from Jan. 8 to Jan. 29 at 6923 N.W. Friberg-Strunk St., Suite 230, Camas. Instructor Hannah Complin will guide students through the basics of drawing and painting. No experience is necessary. Students should bring a Canson Mixed Media XL 7×10 sketchbook; 2H, 4H, 6B and 8B pencil sets; kneaded eraser; white eraser; mechanical pencil; pencil sharpener; Pentel Hybrid Technica Pens in sizes 3, 6 and 8; and a #6 watercolor brush. Enrolled students get 20% off art supplies when purchased on site. The cost is $175. Students may bring friends for $75.
