Enspire Arts is hosting a two-day expressive arts workshop for high school students, “A Place in This World,” from 1 to 5 p.m. March 5 and 12 at the Joyce Garver Theater, 1500 N.E. Garfield St., Camas. The workshops, which are open to students from all school districts, teach students to use music, painting, drawing and writing as mediums for personal growth. The cost for both days is $120. Snacks and supplies are included. Four scholarships are available for half the fee, available for families who qualify for free or reduced-cost lunches; email firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
Both days are divided into two sessions. The March 5 sessions are “This Is Me: Confidence, Self-esteem and Courage,” and “Finding Your Rhythm: Motivation, Balance and Relaxation.” March 12 sessions are “Stop the World, I Want to Get Off: Tips for Handling Adversity and Challenges” and “Bridge the Gap: Finding Common Ground and Handling Tough Conversations.” Register at www.camascommunityed.camas/wednet.edu.
