Fern Prairie United Methodist Church 150th Anniversary

Fern Prairie United Methodist Church, founded in 1873 and known as “The Little White Church on the Hill,” is celebrating its sesquicentennial or 150th anniversary with a series of events from April to October. Everyone is welcome on Sundays at 10 a.m. or to join the congregation for special events followed by a family-style meal. Dates of special events at 26112 N.E. Brunner Rd., Camas, are:

• Aug. 27: Rev. Keith Hackett, “Reflection on My Time at Fern Prairie, 1982-91”
• Sept. 10: Rev. Keith Hackett, “Remembering Rev. Ruth Mathis, 2007-16”
