First Friday Poetry Night at Birdhouse Books

Birdhouse Books, downstairs at 1011 Main St., Vancouver, will host First Friday Poetry Night with Janet Steward and Annie Lighthart from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 6 in conjunction with downtown Vancouver’s First Friday Art Walk. Birdhouse Books hosts poetry nights every First Friday, a drop-in event where attendees can browse books, see art and buy treats from Short & Sweet bubble tea and mochi donuts, located directly above Birdhouse Books. Steward is the author of “Now Is What Matters” and she was a finalist in The Poetry Box Chapbook Prize 2023.
