First Friday Poetry Night at Birdhouse Books

Birdhouse Books, 1001 Main St. (below Short and Sweet) will host First Friday Poetry Night with Douglas Spangle, Michael Shay and M. F. McAuliffe from 7-8:30 p.m. June 6. The poetry reading is in conjunction with downtown Vancouver’s First Friday Art Walk, 5-9 p.m. Holbrook Award-winner Spangle will read from “A White Concrete Day.” Shay will read from “The Words I Own” and McAuliffe will read from “The Fires.” The reading is free and open to the public.
