Tour a 6.5-acre rural residence along McCormick Creek near Ridgefield from noon to 1 p.m. Sept. 22 and see management practices in action. The property was recognized by WSU Clark County Extension for stewardship through the Doing Our Part for Clean Water program. See and discuss forest and trail management, water features, wildlife habitat, maintaining a sand mound septic system, streamside protection and more. The tour is great for those who have woodlands or a body of water near their land, and those that are interested in wildlife habitat and creating water features or a barrel sauna. Tour-takers should dress for the weather, bring water and be prepared to walk on uneven ground. Light snacks, juice, and water will be provided. Register at 092225tour.bpt.me. Questions?
