Fort Vancouver Rose Society General Membership Meeting

The next Fort Vancouver Rose Society general membership meeting will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Sept. 1 at St. Luke’s-San Lucas Episcopal Church, 426 E. Fourth Plain Blvd., Vancouver. All rose enthusiasts are welcomed to meetings held on the first Thursday of each month from February to June and from September to December. On Sept. 1, the Fort Vancouver Rose Society general membership meeting will feature its annual in-house rose show for both novice and experienced exhibitors. This is an excellent opportunity for first-time exhibitors to learn about the art of displaying roses and attendees are encouraged to participate by bringing their favorite roses. The more roses there are, the more interesting (and fun) the in-house rose show will be. If you have a “mystery rose” in your garden, this is a very good time to bring it in to be identified.
