Fort Vancouver Rose Society presents “Mulch Your Roses!”

The Fort Vancouver Rose Society welcomes Rob Zimmerman of Soil Builders in Ridgefield as a guest speaker for its next meeting at 7 p.m. Oct. 2 in the Parish Hall at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Vancouver. Zimmerman will share the benefits of mulching roses (and attendees can also schedule a mulch delivery with Zimmerman at the meeting). Also lined up for the October meeting, Wendy Tilley (The Rose Gardener / Harlane Garden Labels) will present ideas for holiday gift giving! Guests can also bring one pair of pruners to be sharpened. Rose care experts and experienced rose growers will be on hand to answer questions. The public is always welcome.
