Forum at the Library: The Ripple Effects of Childhood Trauma

The impact of childhood trauma can touch every part of our lives and how we respond to daily situations at school, home, and work. Fort Vancouver Regional Libraries, in partnership with Initiative for Public Deliberation at WSUV, The Aces Action Alliance, and Way-Enough Decision Coaching is hosting a unique discussion – moderated by Delena Meyer — on the ripple effects of these traumas and what parents, businesses, and community members should know.

The community is invited join the conversation on how to build community resilience and address the impacts of trauma across the lifespan. Part of the library’s award-winning Forum @ the Library series, the event will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at Vancouver Community Library, 901 C Street, Vancouver, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. During the Forum, activities for children will be available in the Children’s Program Room on the library’s third level.

Refreshments will be provided by Friends of Vancouver Community Library.
