Four-week portrait painting course

Art Zone, 6923 N.W. Friberg-Strunk St., Suite 230, Camas, will host a four-week Portrait Painting in Oil course with instructor Barbara Sheehan, meeting from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursdays, Feb. 6-27. Students ages 18 and older will receive guidance through the process of creating a portrait using oil paints. The cost is $175 per person, not including supplies; students should bring their own brushes, paints and palettes. Enrolled students receive a 20 percent discount if buying supplies at Art Zone.
