Ghost Town Poetry Open Mic at Art at the Cave Gallery

The next Ghost Town Poetry Open Mic is 7 p.m. July 11 at Art at the Cave, 108 E. Evergreen Blvd., Vancouver. The featured poet is Kevin Sampsell. There’s a suggestion donation of $5 to attend but no one will be turned away. Donations can be made in person or through Christopher Luna’s PayPal account at christopherjluna@gmail.com. Include a memo stating that the money is for Ghost Town Poetry.

Portland-based Sampsell is an editor and publisher, bookstore employee, collage artist and author and memoirist. His book of collage art and poems, “I Made an Accident” was published in 2022 and his newest book, “Sean the Stick” is a collaboration with the artist Emma Jon-Michael Frank that came out in January. His stories and essays have appeared in Southwest Review, Diagram, Salon, The Rumpus, McSweeney’s, Tin House, Paper Darts, Joyland and Longreads.
