The next Ghost Town Poetry Open Mic event is 1 to 3 p.m. July 30 at General O.O. Howard House, 750 Anderson Sreet, Vancouver. This free, family-friendly afternoon of poetry is a joint presentation with The Historic Trust, part of the summer-long Summerfest, with regular cultural events on the patio of the O.O. Howard House. July’s poetry reading features Clark County authors Joann Renee Boswell and DC Klein. Attendees are also welcome to share their own original poetry or read a favorite poem aloud. Guests should bring a picnic with blankets and chairs for seating on the lawn. Learn more at printedmattervancouver.com.
