The next Ghost Town Poetry Open Mic at 7 p.m. June 13 features Marialicia González at Art at the CAVE gallery, 108 E. Evergreen Blvd., Vancouver. There’s a $5 suggested donation to attend. Donations can be made in person or through Christopher Luna’s PayPal account (christopherjluna@gmail.com). Include a memo stating that the money is for Ghost Town Poetry.
The daughter of Cuban refugees, Miami-born Marialicia González has worked as a midwife, R.N, social worker, minister and artist. She is the founder of Daraluz Wisdom, facilitating workshops, courses and consulting for people to make wise choices during childbearing years. Gonzales is the author of “Language Has No Words.”
