Aurora Gallery, 1004 Main St., Vancouver, will display the works of Vancouver artist Gregory Gorham in “Prismatic Palette,” an exhibit featuring vibrantly colored works depicting outdoor scenes. There will be an opening reception during downtown Vancouver’s First Friday Artwalk, 5 to 9 p.m. April 7. His paintings will be on display for the entire month of April.
Two collections of Gorham’s latest work will be on exhibit at Aurora. “Prismatic Forest” comprises acrylic paintings that depict seasonal images of birch, aspen, beech and mountain ash. Gorham will also exhibit “Harbor Colors,” a series of fishing vessels inspired by the lively fishing harbors in Oregon and Washington. The artists has a strong following in the Long Beach area, and travelers can find his beach-themed work in galleries along the coast.
