The Oregon Zoo is offering visitors a chance to “paws and relax” this fall with half-price admission Nov. 7-11: $12 for adults and $9.50 for children. Discounted tickets must be reserved online in advance of visits; no walk-up admissions can be accommodated. Guests can check in on orangutan mom Kitra and her 6-month-old baby Jolene, plus get a look at some recent fall arrivals — like a trio of cheeky red-tailed monkeys and a crocodile monitor known as Johnny 5. To plan your trip, go to oregonzoo.org/visit. For more information on getting to the zoo, visit Explore Washington Park.
Regular zoo admission is $12 for adults ages 12 and up. Children ages 2 to 11 are $19. Ages 1 and under are free. The zoo is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily with the last reservation at 3:30 p.m. Masks are no longer required. Find member information here.
