The owners of Gather Arts and Naty’s Candles have joined forces to create the Hockinson Artisan Market, a regular outdoor summer market to showcase the work of local makers and small, independent business owners. This month, 12 new artists from the Vancouver area are joining the market for a total of 40 vendors.
The Hockinson Artisan Market (affectionately known as “HAM” with its flying pig mascot, Ham Hawks) is held at the corner of N.E. 182nd Ave. and N.E. 159th Street, right across from the Hockinson Market in the parking lot of the Community Center. Summer times and dates are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays on July 2, July 23, Aug. 6, Aug. 20, Sept. 3 and Sept. 17.
