This season, hear the beautiful music and voices of In Mulieribus wherever you are. The 2020-2021 season, “Visions in Sound,” a collaboration with area visual artists, will be offered free and online at inmulieribus.org. There will be three concerts:
- Visions of Eternity – A program aired online Saturday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m., pairing Cycles of Eternity, the song cycle by Andrea Reinkemeyer, with the striking images of northwest artist and printmaker Rita Robillard. The text, by African-American poet Henrietta Cordelia Ray, is a meditation on the ideas of aspiration, limitations and life.
- Visions of Mystery – A healing contemplation and celebration of the holiday season airing Saturday, Dec. 19, at 7 p.m., featuring some of your favorite music and ancient carols, presented with a new film by Ben DeMarco.
- Visions of Beauty – A program airing online Saturday, April 17, at 7 p.m., celebrating the rebirth and beauty of flowers and gardens in Renaissance poetry through the music of Machaut and others, presented with the works of local artists photographer Deb Stoner and animator and calligrapher Marilyn Zornado.
On the evening of each premiere performance, viewers log on to inmulieribus.org and click on In Mulieribus’ YouTube channel where the event will air.
