Jam Session Advanced Music Workshop

Jam Session will offer a six-week Advanced Musician course from 2 to 4 p.m. Jan. 4, 11, 25, Feb. 1, 8 and 22 at Sons of Norway Hall, 2400 Grant St., Vancouver. This workshop is for those who can confidently find and play alternate chord voicings; read charts with ease or pick up music by ear; and understand advanced music theory, including intervals. This workshop emphasizes playing as part of a band rather than individual performance. Instructor approval is required to participate. Attendees should bring their own instruments. The cost is $125.
