La Center Christmas Festival

La Center will host a Christmas Festival from Dec. 6-8, starting from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 6 with Santa Housecalls (within La Center city limits). From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 7, get holiday shopping done at the Holiday Bazaar featuring local artisans at La Center Middle School, 2001 N.E. Lockwood Creek Road. At noon on Dec. 8, come to downtown La Center to enjoy festive food, artisan vendors and live music. The Santa Stride 5K Run/Walk starts at 1:30 p.m. At 3 p.m., meet Santa on the corner of Fourth and Birch Streets. Get photos with Santa and pet llamas. From 3:30 to 4 p.m., see a gingerbread contest.
