Lantern Viewing Evenings at Lan Su Chinese Garden

Celebrate the Lunar New Year with lantern-viewing evenings from Jan. 29-Feb. 16 at Lan Su Chinese Garden, 239 N.W. Everett St., Portland. The celebration includes lantern sculptures from China, live music and illuminated dragon dances. Times are 5:30 to 7 p.m. and 7:30 to 9 p.m. Jan. 29-Feb 2, Feb. 5-9 and Feb. 12-16. Feb. 13 is for guests 21 and over. Live music and lantern viewing is offered 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 19-23. Tickets are $14 to $43 at lansugarden.org/lanternviewing. Feb. 22 is a sensory-friendly night (tickets $10 to $18). Park for free in the lot behind the garden at Northwest Flanders Street between Second and Third Avenues.
